Greetings from the city of 4-seasons-in-a-day. I have arrived safely in Melbourne and I’m slowly putting the room together. The last few days have been spent packing, unpacking, and packing, and unpacking even more, then wondering why the heck I brought so much stuff with me!
The room is coming together pretty nicely and my first visitor arrives this Friday. Internet connection is limited for now as my computer hasn’t been set up yet, I’m missing a monitor, and there isn’t wireless Internet in the house (yet). The only time I have Internet is at the Jman’s house, where incidentally homecooked food abounds (which I’m ever grateful for). Posts, as such, will be coming in reaaally slowly.
I have also realised how expensive it is to eat out and I really ought to awaken my culinary skills before sushi and coffee eat a hole in my pocket.
And for now, I’m just itching to get my bike fixed up and my runners laced. It’s been a week and a half since the race and I have not done any form of exercise. BAD.
